You are a SASU president paying yourself the salary that validates your four pension quarters, €601 gross a month. If you fall ill, you will receive nothing.
To qualify, you need contributions on at least €12,200 of salary over six months, that is €2,033 a month. In an EURL, with €30,000 of income a year, you would receive €41.10 a day.

A SASU president and an EURL manager are not under the same scheme: their benefits are not calculated the same way.

Treated as an employee, you receive half of your daily salary, calculated on your last three gross salaries. That salary counts up to 1.4 times the minimum wage, that is €2,614 gross a month: above it, your benefit stays at €42.97 a day.
You must have paid contributions on at least 1,015 times the hourly minimum wage over the six months before the leave: €12,200 for a leave starting before December 2026, a little more afterwards. The salary for your four pension quarters, €601 a month, is far from it. And your dividends never count.
Self-employed, you receive one 730th of your average annual income over the last three years: your pay, plus your dividends above 10% of the capital. Below €4,582 of average income, nothing; above €48,060, your benefit caps at €65.84 a day.
Architect, psychologist, osteopath: your benefit can reach €197.51 a day, but health insurance only pays 87 days per leave.
The first three days of each leave are not paid. The fund then withholds 6.7% of CSG and CRDS, and your benefits are taxable as income, except for an exempt long-term illness.

Leave starting in October 2026, 27 days paid after the waiting period. Manager registered for more than a year, outside regulated professions.
Camille pays herself €601 gross a month to validate her four quarters, and the rest as dividends.
She is off for thirty days in October. Over the last six months, she paid contributions on €3,606 of salary.
She needed €12,200: she receives no benefit.
With €2,100 gross a month, she would have received €34.52 a day.
To be covered, pay yourself at least €2,033 gross a month, not just the quarters' salary.
Above €2,614 gross a month, a higher salary no longer raises your benefit.
Check what your provident contract adds to the benefit.
Your benefit follows your income over the last three years. A low year brings it down.
During your first year of registration, you are entitled to nothing. Keep a reserve.
A provident contract tops up the benefit. Compare it with your fixed costs.
In 2026, the salary that validates four pension quarters is not enough for a SASU president to qualify for sick pay, because the two thresholds do not measure the same thing. A pension quarter takes €1,803 of gross salary; sick pay requires contributions on 1,015 times the hourly minimum wage over six months, that is €12,200 for a leave starting before December 2026.
Dividends never count towards sick pay in a SASU, because they carry no contributions. In an EURL, they count for the part above 10% of your capital, because it carries contributions like pay.
A company director receives at most 360 daily benefits over three years, except for a long-term illness. For a regulated liberal profession, 87 days at most per leave. And since 1 September 2026, a first sick note is written for 31 days at most, then extensions of 62 days at most.
Nothing forbids your company from continuing to pay you during sick leave, but no official source says how a maintained salary combines with your benefits when you are a president without an employment contract. Ask your accountant before doing it.
