The latest features and improvements on the platform.
740 new lessons to make your pages react, from your first console.log to your own budget app.
After HTML & CSS and Python, Reps now teaches you JavaScript, the language that makes web pages react. The path has 74 units and 740 lessons, in English as well as in French. Every lesson fits on your phone. You put the code together with your thumb, type one line at most, and see right away what it does: the console answers you, and the buttons on your page react when you tap them. You move from project to project: a kitchen timer, a suitcase that remembers what you packed, a weather page for a city, a full quiz. The last one brings everything you have learned together in a budget app, put online. The path is open today on the website. On iPhone, it shows up once the app has updated itself, usually the second time you open it.
The courses page now starts from what you want to do: getting started, saving time with AI or building your site. No more getting lost in the catalogue.
Until now, the courses page showed you twenty-four cards sorted by level, and it was up to you to know which one to start with. It now starts from what you want to do. Three paths are waiting at the top of the page: getting started, saving time with AI, and building your own site. Each one gives its steps in order. To get started, the first three are free tools. If you have already answered the welcome questions, the path that fits you opens by itself. Below, the whole catalogue is still there, sorted by subject. For an upcoming course, tap “Notify me” and you will be told when it is released. The courses themselves are in French.
From sign-up, you say where you stand and your first step is chosen for you: a course, or a free tool.
The first screens of Believemy have been rebuilt from start to finish, so that everyone starts from their own situation. BeBot first asks whether you work for yourself, then adapts what follows. Already have a business? It asks what holds you back the most. Starting out? It asks how far along you are. The level question now only goes to people who come to learn a tool, such as code or AI. At the end, no more wondering where to start. When no course answers your need directly, BeBot first suggests a free tool, for example “Combien facturer” if your prices feel too low, then the course that takes over. Already a member? Nothing changes for you: your courses and your progress are where you left them.
Sole trader, freelancer or company owner in France: find your business, and your dashboard tells you which date is coming. No more fear of missing one.
If you are self-employed in France, you no longer have to keep your deadlines in mind. From your dashboard, type the name of your business or its SIRET number, then confirm it is yours. Your dashboard then shows its name and the next date not to miss. Clicking that date opens the free tool that helps you deal with it. While nothing is urgent, the block stays below your courses. Less than a month before a deadline, it moves to the top. We only keep the name and SIREN number of your business with your account, to show it on all your devices. You can change it or remove it at any time.
Put together a character that looks like you. It stands for you in the leaderboard, in discussions and on your profile.
You can now put together your avatar from your account, in the “Avatar” block. Pick each piece one by one, draw one at random, or let BeBot suggest one from a photo. If you had no profile photo, an avatar has already been given to you: it's yours, change it whenever you like. If you'd rather keep your photo, nothing changes. The editor also holds a few pieces just for fun: rainbow, star or pixel glasses, a kimono, a turban.
A button next to Copy opens the code in a large window, so you can read it without scrolling.
In a discussion, a code block is only as wide as the message. As soon as a line gets a little long, you have to scroll the block to read it to the end, even more so in a messaging window. Every code block now has an expand button, to the left of the copy button. One click, and the code opens in a large window, on top of the page. The copy button is there too. To close it, press Escape, click outside or on the cross: you are back where you were. The button is there wherever code is displayed: discussions, messaging, sessions and articles. On a phone, the window slides up from the bottom of the screen.
In accelerators, a project opens full screen: the brief, your tasks, the submission and your mentor's feedback in one place.
A bridge project takes several days to build, then your mentor reviews it. Yet its screen was a stack of blocks squeezed into the course page. It now opens full screen, like a quiz. At the top, a banner in the project's colour, with a BeBot drawn for it. Below, two tabs: "Brief" for the specifications, the tasks and the assessment criteria, "Your submission" to send your work. You tick the tasks off as you go, and the bar tells you how many are left. On the right, a card follows your project step by step: to do, submitted, under review, approved. It also reminds you what you have to hand in. Once your mentor has reviewed it, a third tab appears: "Feedback". There you read their message and the list of criteria, approved or to rework. If some points still need fixing, the "Resubmit" button is on the card. In the course outline, each project keeps its colour and shows its status.
The "Ask a question" button opens a window at the bottom right. You write with the session in front of you.
Until now, asking a question replaced the list of discussions with a form, below the video. You lost sight of the passage you were stuck on. Now, the "Ask a question" button sits next to the Discussions tab, in courses and in accelerators. It opens a window at the bottom right, next to your conversations. The video and the text of the session stay in place while you write. The window notes the moment of the video where you opened it. You can minimize it, change page or reload: your text is waiting for you. When you post, the window becomes the thread of your question. Answers arrive there live, including those written from the Discussions tab, and the name of the person who has opened your question appears under the title. Need more room? A button in the header enlarges the window, for a thread as well as for a question, and a second click brings it back to its size. Would you rather share a guide? The link at the bottom of the window opens it large. A guide is reviewed by the team before it is published.
The message bubble opens your discussions right where you are. You reply while the video keeps playing.
Until now, the message bubble took you to the messaging page. In the middle of a session, you then had to find your course again to pick up where you left off. Thanks to the student who pointed it out. Now, one click on the bubble opens the list of your latest discussions, right below it. Pick one: it opens in a window at the bottom right, and the page behind it stays put. You can minimize the window. It waits in the corner, and a dot lights up when a message arrives. On a computer, you can keep up to three discussions open. If you open a fourth, the oldest one makes room for it. Your windows follow you from page to page and are still there after a reload. The arrow at the top of the window opens the same discussion in the full messaging page. When the other person has the conversation open at the same time as you, their name appears under the title.
A notebook next to the video, a focus mode, and a video that follows you as you scroll down the page.
The screen where you follow a session has been rebuilt, in courses and in accelerators. The notebook opens on the right, in place of the outline. You write while the video plays, and each note keeps the moment you took it: click its timer to go back there. In a text session, select a passage to add it to the notebook. Your notes accept Markdown and get a title you can change. You can reorder them, search them and export them. A deleted note stays in the trash for 30 days. The video follows you as a thumbnail when you scroll down the page. Focus mode hides the outline, and your tasks sit in a panel at the bottom of the screen. The tabs have changed too. Progress shows your certificate and your last seven days. Discussions places every question on a timeline of the video.
Two buttons in the sidebar: one to suggest an idea, the other to contact us.
Is something missing on Believemy? The "Suggest a feature" button, in the sidebar, opens a window where you describe it in a few lines. Every suggestion is read. "Contact us" no longer opens your mail app: you write in the window, and we reply by email. The email address and the postal address stay displayed below. In a session, "Report an issue" also opens in a window, without taking you away from the video.
A single leaderboard, a shared goal every week, and a way to cheer other learners on.
Every learner of the week now shares the same leaderboard. The twelve leagues become your personal rank: every Monday, the top half of the leaderboard moves up one. The page also shows who learned recently and who is online. Every week, an XP goal is set for everyone, and each participant gets extra fragments once it's reached. You can also cheer another learner on from the leaderboard, once a day per person. They get a pop-up at the bottom of their screen and can cheer you back. If you'd rather not be notified, the pop-up lets you pause for an hour, a day or a month, and your account preferences let you turn cheers off for good.
Your appointments come first, and your stats finally tell you something.
The dashboard now opens with what's coming up: your mentoring calls and live events, with the date, the time and a "Live now" marker as soon as they start. Past appointments no longer linger in the list. Further down, your learning time fits in a single card: the total for the period, the comparison with the previous period, your last 7 days day by day, then your habits and the courses where your time goes. Picking a period with no activity no longer makes the section disappear. Finally, the right column shows only one card at a time, starting with the latest course if you haven't joined it yet.
The call page has been redone, and it updates on its own.
The call page has been completely reworked. At the top, you'll find the person you're talking to, the date, the duration and the button to join the video call. Below that, your messages, and on the side the call details and what you can do: move it, cancel it, or for the mentor, report a no-show. The page follows the clock: it switches to "Live" when the call starts, without you having to reload it. For mentors, the "My calls" and "My codes" tabs of the mentor space are now readable lists, split between upcoming calls, calls to wrap up and past ones. And connecting a Google calendar no longer goes through the "unverified app" screen.
Set automatically, or picked by hand: you decide.
Until now, the site picked up your computer's time zone on every visit, even if you had chosen a different one. From now on, a "Set automatically" switch decides. When it's on, your time zone follows your device, including when you travel. If you pick a time zone from the list, the switch turns off and your choice is kept. The list also shows the city, the country and the UTC offset, instead of codes like "Asia/Makassar".
The iPhone app is approved. You can download it right now.
Apple has approved the app. Reps is now on the App Store, and you can install it on your iPhone today. Your account is the same on both sides: your finished lessons, your streak, your keys and your league are waiting the first time you open it. Lessons load ahead of time, so you can keep going on the metro or on a plane, with no connection. Android is not available yet, but you can leave your address to hear about it the day it ships. And Reps of course stays available from your browser, on computer as well as phone.
The app has just been submitted to the App Store. The ball is in Apple's court.
The Reps app for iPhone has just gone to Apple for review. It is the last step before release, and it is out of our hands now: you will hear about it right here as soon as it can be downloaded. What you do in the meantime is far from wasted. Your account is the same on both sides: your finished lessons, your streak, your keys and your league will be waiting the first time you open the app. And nothing stops until then, since Reps stays fully available from your browser, on computer as well as phone.
AI and automation on one side, online business on the other.
Two glossaries join the ones already on Believemy. The first gathers the vocabulary of artificial intelligence and automation, written for people who want to put it to work in their own business rather than for specialists. The second covers online business: acquisition, recurring revenue, conversion, pricing, payment, all the words you run into the moment you start a project and that nobody takes the time to explain. Every term fits in a few lines, with an example whenever one genuinely helps. Both are available in French and English, and can be read freely, no account needed.
Short lessons, real code to write, and BeBot right beside you.
Reps is open. The idea comes down to a habit: a few minutes a day, one lesson at a time, and never being left stuck. You start by building web pages, then move on to Python, and every exercise has you writing real code whose result appears right in front of you. BeBot is there from start to finish: it explains, it reads lessons out loud if you would rather listen, and it tells you why an answer does not pass. Your streak, your keys, your chests and your league take care of the rest. Reps is available in French and English.
At the end of every article, what comes next is already there.
You finish an article and do not know what to read next: the "Read next" block offers up to eight possible follow-ups, laid out as a rail of cards. It moves a full column at a time, always lets the next card peek out so you can see there is more, and works just as well with a mouse as with a finger.
A course that has not opened yet can still take your name on a waiting list.
Courses that have not opened yet now accept your sign-up: you take your place on the waiting list and get notified when the day comes. Along the way, course pages have been reviewed: the price announced matches the price charged everywhere, and both filters and expandable sections can be operated entirely from the keyboard.
French or English stays your choice from one device to the next.
You pick French or English once, and that choice follows you everywhere: on your computer, on your phone, on your next visit. Course durations, which used to stay in French, are now displayed in the language you chose as well.
Changing plan takes effect immediately, and you only pay the difference.
You want to move from Believemy Plus to Believemy Pro: it happens immediately. You only pay the difference, based on the time you had left, and you get the whole catalogue right away. The dialogs in your subscription area are also easier to handle on a phone, where they now slide up from the bottom.
Whatever still stands between you and 100% is highlighted.
Being stuck at 98% without knowing why is over. Your certification screen highlights the items that are still missing, so you know exactly what to finish to reach 100%.
What you have read is no longer suggested again, and the articles of the moment rise up.
The blog remembers what you read: articles you have already been through leave your recommendations, and a "most read" block shows you what is going around right now, over a stated period. On your dashboard, a new block tells you how much time you have spent learning, week after week.
Your next step comes before the numbers.
The dashboard no longer opens with numbers, but with what you have to do: the next step of your path, your roadmap, and the goal you set for the day. BeBot greets you when you arrive, in writing or out loud, and helps you choose that goal. Statistics stay quiet until they have enough material to be useful.
Clearer plans, a shorter checkout, and a way to earn when you recommend us.
The pricing page has been rebuilt so you can see at a glance what each plan contains and what it costs. Checkout has been shortened, sign-up and sign-in rebuilt, and an affiliate program now lets you earn when someone joins on your recommendation.
You see what is blocking, you settle it, and you stay in control of your subscription.
When a payment fails, you are no longer shut out without explanation. A screen shows you the pending invoice and lets you settle it directly. And if the amount no longer works for you, you can switch to Believemy Plus instead of stopping altogether. Your invoices and your subscription area are now displayed in your language.
Precise availability, your calendar in sync, and a preview of what your contacts see.
On the mentor side, scheduling moves up a level. You open several slots in a single day, mark a specific date as unavailable or with special hours, and your Google Calendar stays the source of truth: conflicts are checked across all your calendars, and every appointment is created in the one you choose. A preview shows you exactly what your contacts see, and why a day shows no slot.
We remind you whether you last signed in with Google or with your password.
On the sign-in screen, a 'Last used' marker shows which method you used last time on this device, Google or your password. You sign back in faster, without hesitating.
Protect your account with an extra verification step.
You can now enable two-factor authentication from your account. At login, on top of your password, a one-time code from your authenticator app is required. Backup codes keep you from losing access, and your trusted devices won't ask for the code every time.
Get notified of new logins and stay in control of your devices.
Believemy now looks after your account security. Whenever a login happens from a new device, you get an email alert. And from your account, you can see every connected device and remotely log one out in a single click.
Aim for the perfect score with BeBot, unlock the correction video from your first attempt, and enjoy a smoother chat.
